Paws-of-Love Cattery

About Us

We absolutely love the Himalayan and Persian breed. We got our first Himalayan around 2 years ago and we both fell in love with him. He was  our true inspiration to start our own cattery. He is a blue point male, and he is a talkative little baby. We got him fixed because we did not get breeding rights because we did not know at the time how much love and fun having a Himalayan in our loving home could be. Our goal is to have fun and preserve the Himalayan and Persian breed. We are not about making  money and getting rid of the kittens too soon. We want our kittens to be ready to go to their new homes. We believe that kittens should be at least 12 weeks before leaving our home. This allows the kittens to be  more sociable and ready to meet their new home. It has been a continuous process reading about the Himalayan and Persian breed and finding out all the different information on how to care for them and how to start your own cattery in order to be successful. I have also talked to many different breeders from around that are greatly experienced. I want my cattery to have good bloodlines because this is what it takes to preserve and produce a cattery that can be ongoing. As of right now, I have a flame lynx point female that I got from Don-Tom Cattery and Donna is an absolute sweetheart. I want to thank her for selling me my first female Persian. My male is a Blue CPC Persian that I got from Caleb Cats and Brian Foster is a person that I would consider a true friend. He has been their to offer us advice on colors, caring for kittens, and he truly loves his cats. Both of their cats are beautiful.
